I have been playing guitar and bass guitar for over 40 years now both
professionally and for fun. Besides being a husband and a father,
music is the thing I know and do best. I have been in many bands over
the years. I have recorded albums and played in large and small
venues. My knowledge of music ranges from the Popular Standards of
the last 60 years to the punk sounds of Green Day and NOFX.

I primarily play by ear. The way I learned to play was to listen to a song
and then figure it out on my own. The way I teach is a combination of
two teaching methods where as I show you how to read chord
diagrams and execute the chords and changing of chords so that
before you know it, you are playing some of your favorite songs yourself!
